I’ve personally been using the Audio Technica ATH-AD700x for years. Just like you invest in quality hardware for graphics, invest in quality hardware for audio.

Without hardware capable of creating quality directional audio and sound, much of the effect will be lost. If you’re listening to Skyrim on your old Apple earbuds from 2010, you obviously won’t feel the profound impacts of the updated audio as you would with quality open-eared headphones or a surround sound setup. All these features come with a pretty big caveat, however. You won’t believe how much more alive Skyrim feels with birds chirping, taverns bustling and waterfalls roaring. This module covers all aspects of Skyrim’s audio from loudness, to ambiance, fauna, music and new sounds all together–Audio really has it all. BMS seeks to fix that with the Audio module. Yet, it’s one of the most overlooked areas of modding. Immersive Music - Adds 16 hours worth of new music to the game, including some tracks from the Witcher series, to give your ears something new to enjoy while slaughtering dragons.Audio has a profound impact on the immersion one experiences in-game. Sounds of Skyrim - A collection of sound packs for dungeons, cities and the wilderness that make the world feel much more vibrant and alive. Heart of the Beast - Also a visual modifier, this mod dramatically improves the noises of werewolves, from their howls to the sound they make when tearing an enemy apart. There's around 4000 new sounds just for footsteps alone! There aren't many sound effects throughout the game that haven't been changed or touched up in some way, and the attention to detail really shows. Shouts have received a big improvement too, being much more bass-y and feeling more powerful than before.

Weapons have been improved, including reverb on swords, a true-to-life arrow launching sound and unique sounds for daggers. launch a fireball to the other side of the room and you'll hear it later than you would if it hit next to you. In addition to that, sound of attacks and spells will reverb back to you at different times depending on how far away you are from the impact zone, i.e. The change is most noticeable in caves, as dependent on how loud NPCs are talking there will now be a noticeable echo radiating throughout the environment. The Audio Overhaul aims to improve the sound design for all aspects of the game in an effort to make the world feel more realistic.
